BRIDGET SAVANT

Studio Manager

Bridget has been developing her passion of dance for 27 years.  Her dance training began in Orange County and quickly ranged from LA to San Diego at some of Southern California’s top studios and conventions, studying Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Tap. She joined Huggy Ford's dance company at the age of 9 and competed for him for 4 years until having a tendon transfer surgery on both feet due to a neurological disorder, CMT. Throughout high school Bridget learned that hip hop could become her true outlet of expression despite her body's limitations. She trained and performed with anyone and everyone she could and began teaching professionally at the age of 16.

In college, Bridget continued her choreography and training with the University of San Diego Spirit Team, helping them place 3rd in Nationals with her Hip Hop choreography and serving as captain her last 2 years. Throughout her time at USD, Bridget began teaching college credit Hip Hop classes, working for DARE Dance after school programs, and teaching youth classes at Culture Shock. She graduated from USD with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and minored in Psychology and Gender Studies.

After graduation, Bridget became the Assistant Coach to USD's Spirit Team, a Mini Shock San Diego Director, the Dance Director for Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA Summer Camps, a certified Zumba instructor, and Dance To EvOLvE Program Mentor. She worked as an independent contractor for 2 years before getting offered a full-time position as the Programs Development Manager for Dance To EvOLvE.

At Dance To EvOLvE, Bridget learned how to manage a mobile dance company with multiple locations from the both the business and teaching side. She specialized in customer service development, event planning, teacher training programs, logistical planning, database management, social media, marketing, after school programs, communications, scheduling, dance teacher assistants, video production, and small business development.

Bridget could not be happier to serve as CSDC Studio Manager. She strives to bring new energy, growth, and love to a dance center that so many call home.
