Giuliana "Gigi" Gil
Desk Staff

After dabbling in the occasional dance class as a child, Giuliana’s official training and love for dance began at 11 years old, when she entered the seventh grade as a dance major in the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) housed at Chula Vista Middle School. Through that incredible program, that she continued with throughout high school, she studied various forms of dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Along with studying and being exposed to numerous genres of dance, thanks to the SCPA, Giuliana was given incredible learning and performance opportunities, met and was taught by esteemed people in the industry, and was first introduced to Culture Shock Dance Center.

Following a two year dance hiatus, beginning when she started studying communication at San Diego State University, Giuliana got back to her training when she became a member of Culture Shock Dance Center’s Scholarship Program and spent a year and a half in the program. Now, as a member of Culture Shock Dance Center’s Desk Staff, she feels very blessed to be one of the many faces at this beloved studio that has given her the opportunity to meet numbers of talented people, further her love of dance, and see artistry at its finest.
