Sabrina is a career dancer who has spent over two decades traveling the world teaching and performing bellydance. Her bellydance career has taken her to Egypt, much of North Africa, England, Wales, Europe, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Mexico, and much of the USA, while headlining in night clubs, restaurants and festivals. She is the featured dancer in the Egyptian film Citizen Bors, and has danced for royalty of the Middle East. Sabrina was the first to teach Gothic Dance in Vietnam and the first westerner invited to teach Iraqi Kawleeya and Egyptian Mahragan Shaabi Street Dance in the Middle East. During her career, she earned seven international bellydance championship titles under the coaching of Hallah Moustafa. She then became the spokes model and international representative for the Hallah Moustafa costume brand. Sabrina is a featured belly dance performer and instructor on RaqsTV.com, The Flying Carpet TV, and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild with a successful string of national TV appearances. She is the author of the international best seller "Energy and Extension for Belly Dancers" training mediation CD and the acclaimed costuming manual "Build A Better Bra". Sabrina’s educational articles have been published in many of the bellydance trade magazines including The Chronicles, Zaghareet, The Happenings (MECDA National Trade Magazine), and Jareeda Magazine (and Jareeda Spring 2011 Covergirl). She is a featured bellydance personality in the documentary film Fellowship of the Weird. She was the bellydance instructor at San Diego’s Cuyamaca and Grossmont Colleges, as well as many private studios. Sabrina is a founding member of Dangerous Beauties Dance Company who's mission is to empower women by presenting stories of important historic female figures through performance art. Sabrina is an alumni of the UC Irvine Dance Department, where she studied with world renowned educators including the legendary Donald McKayle and Bernard Johnson. Her journey has come full circle, landing back in San Diego where she was a former student of Angie Bunch! Sabrina is thrilled to be part of the Culture Shock team and welcomes the opportunity to share Bellydance and Ballet Bootcamp with everyone.
