Sarah Testa

Sarah started dancing at age 5 taking ballet, tap, and jazz. In highschool, Sarah danced and assistant taught at Tarrytown Dance Center as well as performed on their competition team. She also took tap at Tapestry Dance Company from Acia Gray and Jason Janas. Sarah performed with Tapestry’s professional tap company in their first annual version of the Nutcracker, “Of Mice and Music”.

Sarah taught her first tap class in 2007. Over the next 3 years, Sarah taught tap and children’s ballet/tap combo classes at three studios around the Austin, TX area. Between 2009 and 2010, Sarah directed a city rec center’s youth dance program with over 100 students. In 2010, Sarah married a Naval Officer and has been moving around the country ever since. She has four children including two tappers in training. Sarah enjoys tapping everywhere she lives. Now in San Diego, Sarah has performed as a member of Tap Fever’s Feverhythm performance team. Most importantly, Sarah is happy to be teaching tap again!
